The Assistant After School Coordinator is responsible for supporting the planning, implementation, and supervision of the after school program. The Full Inclusion Instructor is responsible for working with teachers and students to help facilitate Special Education learning in the classroom. The After School Group Leader Substitute is a part time, on call position. This roles is responsible for supervising students during after school hours by managing student check-in/out, overseeing transitions, and facilitating student engagement through planned enrichment activities such as sports, games, and art. The role includes providing support for special needs students, assisting with snack administration, and ensuring a safe and positive environment. The individual will also participate in staff meetings, professional development, coaching cycles, and contribute to day-to-day school operations, all while upholding Navigator Schools’ mission, values, and culture.

Role Summary The After School Skills Support Paraprofessional is responsible for supporting students during after school hours to help students develop needed skills (example: following school rules, taking turns, sharing, dealing with losing or disappointment etc). The Skills Support Para is also responsible for supporting students during the after school time to develop needed academic skills by providing 1:1 or small group support. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with peers, teachers, and students, have a deep commitment to student achievement, hold students and self to high expectations, and uphold Navigator school culture at all times.
