The Food Service Assistant at Santa Clara Unified School District will assist in the preparation and serving of food, as well as perform cashiering duties in a production kitchen environment. This part-time position requires a high school graduate with at least one year of experience in food preparation in quantity. The ideal candidate must be physically capable of working in a school kitchen, including lifting up to 40 pounds, and should possess basic math and cashiering skills. A sanitation certificate is preferred. The role is located at Nutrition Services - Santa Clara High School and offers a salary range of $25.95 to $33.10 per hour. Benefits may include paid holidays and vacation. The work schedule is 3 hours per day, 5 days per week, for 10 months/185 days per year, with work hours from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm.
