Under the direction of the Principal, a SDC Teacher is to provide direct instruction for student learning. A wide variety of tasks are performed in the teaching-learning process for students, focusing on subject matter and skills that contribute to their development as mature, able, and responsible adults.

• Guide students into learning the district adopted curriculum to high standards.
